CDT (Cambridge Display Technology Ltd)

Logic were selected to work with our main office interiors contractor to equip two meeting rooms in our new corporate headquarters.

Room 1 was designated for videoconferencing, Room 2  for audioconferencing, with both rooms to have the facility for data-video projection for PC presentations. Our existing videoconferencing equipment was utilised and successfully integrated into the new projection and audio system installed in Room 1. Presentations and VC video are projected onto an electric screen which retracts flush to our ceiling when not in use. The new audio system was integrated with our videoconferencing unit with playback through discrete ceiling-tile speakers.

For our audioconferencing in room 2 we wanted something a little better than the standard desktop conference speakerphone so that participants sitting around our large rectangular meeting room table could all be heard clearly by the other party. Logic proposed a high specification system from ClearOne Communications comprising strategically-placed table-recessed microphones and ceiling recessed speakers. The microphone mixer and amplifier are housed discretely out of site in a rack/cupboard.

The installations were carried out on time to a high standard with technical support readily available when needed.

Convergys EMEA Ltd

Convergys EMEA Ltd is a leading e-business software company specialising in active revenue management for the telecomms, IP/Internet, utilities and on-line services marketplaces.

Logic have proved to be an excellent partner in the provision of portable and installed projection systems.  Rapid business growth required us to hire multiple projectors from sometimes at a couple of hours’ notice. We are now fully equipped with over twenty projectors purchased from Logic and we rely confidently on their technical support and repair service to maintain these key assets.

We involved Logic in our relocation project involving moving and re-installing projection systems as well as installing new equipment. The work was carried out on time and to a high standard.  We could even call on Logic to evaluate and train on existing interactive whiteboard equipment inherited from the previous occupants. In all we are confident that we have found a reliable partner to look after our ongoing audio-visual needs.

Lifetime Portfolio Ltd

As part of our expansion plans we needed to equip two new meeting rooms with state-of–the-art AMX Room Control systems providing simple control over all equipment and lighting.  Logic worked with our office interiors contractors to install projection systems, sophisticated lighting and audio, with processors and source equipment for both rooms housed discretely out of sight in a single equipment rack in a cupboard.  One touch of the projection icon on the AMX touch panel starts the projector, lowers the electric screen and sets the lighting to the correct level. The beauty of this type of system lies in it’s ease of use – no more need to refer to user manuals or wonder which remote control does what!

The King's School Ely

We were looking for a supplier for phased installation of interactive classroom projection systems across the school. In 2003 we contacted Logic for advice and since then they have efficiently carried out installation in over 40 rooms with a mixture of projection systems, Smart Board Interactive whiteboards, audio systems and plasma displays. We have been very pleased with both the quality of the work and the response to any technical issues which have arisen..

Thriplow Church of England (Aided) Primary School

(Thriplow Primary School is a small village school in rural South Cambridgeshire)

Since 2002 we have been using Smart Boards and Projectors installed by Logic on a daily basis.  ICT has spread easily and helpfully into all areas of the curriculum.  Smart Boards have become vital tools for our teachers who were initially reluctant to travel that particular route into the 21st Century. The training provided as part of our package helped us build confidence.  It was good to know that help was near at hand if we should have technical difficulties too.
